The Chinese Elm is a very hardy tree and will tolerate extremes of weather including very cold.
This beautiful evergreen or partly deciduous tree [in colder climates] has a weeping habit, and grows about 10m tall and 11m wide.
Its small leaves are dark green and shiny. The brown/grey bark is shed in irregular patches, exposing blotches of orange, grey, green and brown.
